Blue Oyster Cult – Don’t Fear the Reaper + Lyrics

Dont Fear the Reaper by Blue Oyster Cult, from the album Agents of Fortune (1976). Personally one of my favorite songs. Enjoy! Heres the Lyrics: All our times have come Here but now they’re gone Seasons don’t fear the reaper Nor do the wind, the sun or the rain..we can be like they are Come on baby…don’t fear the reaper Baby take my hand…don’t fear the reaper We’ll be able to fly…don’t fear the reaper Baby I’m your man… Valentine is done Here but now they’re gone Romeo and Juliet Are together in eternity…Romeo and Juliet 40000 men and women everyday…Like Romeo and Juliet 40000 men and women everyday…Redefine happiness Another 40000 coming everyday…We can be like they are Come on baby…don’t fear the reaper Baby take my hand…don’t fear the reaper We’ll be able to fly…don’t fear the reaper Baby I’m your man… Love of two is one Here but now they’re gone Came the last night of sadness And it was clear she couldn’t go on Then the door was open and the wind appeared The candles blew then disappeared The curtains flew then he appeared…saying don’t be afraid Come on baby…and she had no fear And she ran to him…then they started to fly They looked backward and said goodby…she had become like they are She had taken his hand…she had become like they are Come on baby…don’t fear the reaper

    1. if you you look at the lyrics and words carefully it kind of sound like its the rapture and Jesus has come again or he is talking to Marry in the garden when He rose again I mean the words not the song because I typed sound like and I can’t rember how to spell rose as in riseing from the grave so you read the comment now look at the words/lyrics again carefully.

    2. Love of two is one
      Here but now they’re gone
Came the last night of sadness
And it was clear she couldn’t go on
Then the door was open and the wind appeared
      The candles blew then disappeared
The curtains flew then he appeared…saying don’t be afraid
      and she had no fear
And she ran to him…then they started to fly
They looked backward and said goodby…she had become like they are
She had taken his hand…she had become like they are
      don’t fear the reaper

    4. it took 3 commentes now read them starting at this one

      All our times have come
      Here but now they’re gone
      Seasons don’t fear the reaper
Nor do the wind, the sun or the rain
      don’t fear the reaper
      don’t fear the reaper
      don’t fear the reaper

    5. @stupidmonkeyallienc Sir: I don’t think that this has anything to do with Jesus and the Rapture. “A last night of sadness, clear she couldn’t go on…?” In my opinion, it has to do with suicide. Jesus is never associated w/the reaper.
